There have been rumors about supermodel Cindy Crawford retiring from the catwalk, but she hasn’t addressed the rumors…. until now.
In a recent interview she had with United Airlines magazine, Crawford stated that she would like to retire from the industry once she turns 50 this year. In the interview, Crawford stated that she has done it all; from running the best catwalks in the world down to working with the best photographers. However, just a few days ago, Crawford took back her statement and laughed off the issue. According to her, her retirement plan is more of an inside “joke” with her family.
Cindy, who is also active on Instagram, made it clear that she is still reinventing herself and had told her kids that she will retire from the industry each year but every time she does, something comes up that simply puts this model up on work mode all over again.
Crawford became one of the biggest names in the modeling industry who’s fame rose in the 80s and 90s is still among the most in demand models these days. The long legged beauty recently joined supermodels Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer for Balmain’s spring and summer campaign for 2016 leading us to believe that this is not the last hurrah for her. Not yet anyway.
